DURI.AN is a nonprofit organization. We believe that every child should have access to nutritious meals, clean drinking water, and quality education. We are a 100% volunteer organization, and we are run primarily by youth. We hope to show young people that they have what it takes to make a difference and that they are never too young.
This #GivingTuesday, please help DURI.AN change the lives of children living in Vietnam. Every donation makes a difference!
DURI.AN is an amazing opportunity to show love & compassion towards children suffering from lack of food and drinking water. Everyone deserves these basic necessities to survive & thrive in this world. It is a privilege to be giving to such a worthwhile cause. I am honored to be a part of this community. Let’s all have a giving heart & work towards a world of caring for one another.
When we first heard about DURI.AN, our first reaction was a surprise, not because of the nature of such great cause, but rather because of the age of the founders - they both are teenagers. Yet at such young age, their compassion towards unfortunate kids totally earns our respect and our hearts.
When I read about DURI.AN, I was very impressed. The young founders, working together with a group of young and energetic volunteers, really put their hearts and minds into helping the less fortunate people, especially children, living in remote and rural areas in Vietnam which have low access to healthcare, education, and clean drinking water. Such a beautiful gesture from that group is really inspiring, and my sister and I hope that our little contribution to sponsor a well for a family there would be somewhat helpful. It’s only a drop of water in the ocean, but we hope that others who learn about DURI.AN will send donations to help those young people achieving their goal for a good cause.
I am Vietnamese American and have a close connection with my family's history and place of origin. As a young person, I also dedicated my time and efforts to humanitarian work and I am proud of + inspired by the hearts behind DURI.AN and the fact that you are thinking about how to serve people who need the extra care and support. As an adult, I worked with Vietnamese communities in Hanoi and I feel a connection to the culture. Thank you for this wonderful work you are doing!
